Completed in Fall 2025, this 1 MW garage canopy project at MVP Arena in Albany, New York, is expected to generate enough energy to power more than 1,000 homes while saving Albany County more than $150,000 annually, according to local media.

One unique aspect of the project was working around the arena’s busy Fall and Winter event calendar. Home to the Siena Saints NCAA basketball teams and the Albany Firebirds (AFL), MVP Arena also hosts concerts and other live events. The busy venue required careful planning throughout construction, with equipment and material deliveries timed around events to avoid blocking loading docks or disrupting event traffic through close coordination with the customer, venue staff, and project managers.

The installation was completed seamlessly, with careful planning and coordinated deliveries helping keep the project on schedule.

Since opening in 1990, MVP Arena has hosted a wide variety of sporting events and live entertainment, including concerts by U2 and Metallica, as well as Monster Jam, and continues to serve as one of the Capital Region’s premier venues.
